Wiress Plummer is one of the District 3's victors, winning The 44th Hunger Games at age of 18. After she won the Games, she never mentored anyone. She is nicknamed, "Nuts" by Johanna Mason. However, she was reaped for The 75th Hunger Games, but died on day 2.
Since the arena was a fruit forest, there were many poisonous fruits that killed many tributes. However, Wiress was able to recognize that they were poisonous.
During her Games, she let her district partner bomb the careers. However, the bomb reacted in such a way that in activated the other explosives around the cornucopia, killing him, the careers, and some other ones, which was 9 in total. One of the tributes that died in the explosion was Jackson Spidell's uncle. This left Wiress the only tribute left, making her the victor.
That year she was mentored by Fawn Odinshoot. Also, her odds of winning were 22-1 this year. During her Victory Tour, she didn't really notice Jackson's grieving family, since she was going insane from being in her Games.
During this time, she was reaped for the upcoming Games. During the parade, she wore an electric bulb studded outfit. She was seen in the training center with Beetee. Katniss stumbles upon her there, and makes friends with her. Before the Games started, Katniss spotted her standing next to Seeder's pedestal. When the Games start, she is injured by Tiffany with an axe. She then goes with Johanna, Beetee, and Blight. However, after Blight dies, her alliance meets up with Katniss's, and discovers that she ad the others fell victim to the blood rain. The 2 alliances go back to the cornucopia. She also discovers that the arena is like a clock, with a new threat every hour. However, while Wiress was singing, she was stabbed by Gloss in the neck, killing her.
- She is hated by Jackson Spidell since she didn't do much to win her Games, and also since she didn't care to notice Jackson's grieving family while on her Victory Tour.
