The 20th Annual Hunger Games took place in an abandoned coal mine located in the frozen depths of Siberia, specifically the Kamchatka Peninsula. The arena was extremely dangerous; power outages often reduced visibility, and gas leaks caused explosions throughout the mines. Occasionally, loose boulders would drop down from mine ceilings onto tributes below, crushing their entire bodies. Tributes could travel through certain areas using minecarts.
The Finale of the Games required the tributes to ride minecarts through an old cave system to a large cavern filled with molten lava.
In the end, Dallas Holstein of District 10 came victorious and was crowned victor of the 20th Annual Hunger Games.
