The 12th Annual Hunger Games took place in a wonderous land of towering sandstone pillars covered with thick foliage, specifically Zhangjiajie Forest in mountainous southern China. Vast bridges were rebuilt over those left by previous settlements, providing a way to cross between the pillars.
When the final eight remaining tributes stood, the Capitol grew bored with the lack of action, and immediately pumped the entire arena full of water, leaving the tributes with no option but to go up onto one of the two mountainous pillars to fight, where it was connected by a large footbridge to cross and combat.
In the end, Dynamia Diode of District 5 came victorious and was crowned victor of the 12th Annual Hunger Games.
