Orchid Edenthew is the first winner of District 1, winning The 7th Hunger Games, at the age of 16.

7th Hunger Games[]
Orchid is said to have volunteered since her little sister was reaped. She won thanks to her alliance with the tributes of District 2 and her partner and her natural ability to use spears. Yet she only knew how to use basic weapons, but she learned very fast to use them. During the bloodbath, she killed three tributes, and killed three more people later in the Games. However, many people hated her during the Games and after she won since it wasn't hard at all to win, as it was practically raining sponsors for her since she was so beautiful. So, after she won, it's probable that she was son into prostitution. Also, her odds of winning were 7-1.
14th Games[]
This year, she would mentor Raff into victory.
Death[]
Orchid died at age 60 due to brain arrest. After she died, sculptures sculpted a sculpture of her in Victors Village in honor of her being the first winner of District 1.
Mockingjay[]
In one of the film places they used to shoot the first film, there were many pillars showing the names of each victor that won a Hunger Games. As expected, his name showed up on one of the pillars there, along with the other victors from his district.
