Dark Days[]

Just like the other Districts during these times, they were defeated by the Capitol. However, District 13 was obliterated.

Main Export[]

D1's geography stretches from the northern border of Capitol City to the Northern Wilds. A diverse district, Southern District 1 is flush with cosmopolitan merchant communities and delivering the finest goods to Capitol City; while Highland District 1 sports the rugged beauty of vast mountainous stretches, flush with the natural resources to produce Panem’s finest luxury items.

The Hunger Games[]

When it comes to many Games, District 1's children are always volunteering and killing many tributes. They like to compete with District 2 when it comes to the Games, since they have more victors than District 1, also since they are good friends with each other. It is a rare occurrence that when The Hunger Games occur, their tributes aren't a career. However, sometimes, that has happened, along with District 4.
